Cristine Barbosa is a vocalist, pianist, and composer.  Ms. Barbosa keeps very busy around the Colorado Music Scene. You can find her singing at the Famous “La Rumba” night club in Denver with Colorado’s Elite Salsa Band “Conjunto Colores” or catch her doing a show playing solo piano and vocal’s  at “Ace Gillette’s Jazz Club” in Ft. Collins, or singing with the Latin Jazz Band “Ritmo Jazz Latino.” Cristine began singing professionally doing local gigs in bars and night clubs in Colorado at the age of 15. At the ripe age of 21 Cristine put together her first Latin Salsa Orquestra, playing and touring the Caribbean, Europe, and Latin America. Cristine Barbosa (Vocalist/Pianist) is versatile in many musical styles and can sing in Portuguese, Spanish, and English. Cristine accredits this variation of many musical styles to her roots and Latin heritage. Ms. Barbosa has taught voice, piano, and music theory lessons to many.. Although she loves to teach, her heart is really in performing. She has studied voice with renowned voice instructor Scott Martin. She also took Master classes with the virtuoso pianist Eliane Elias as well as private lessons with the legendary jazz pianist Kenny Werner. She has performed on numerous recordings for local and international artists as well. Some of her local and international recordings include Gary Flori, Mac McCain, Kevin Irving, Chuck Berry (Aretha Franklins longtime pianist), Richard Kermode, John Madsen,  Bill Francouer, Drucel White, Rita Dean, Kim Stone, Enrique De Almeida, John Goering, Dale Bruning, Kenny Walker,  Mitchell Long, Francisco Mejias, Walter Barr,  Dave Chipman, J.J. Thiret, Tony Panton, Jill Frederickson, Mel Brown, Jill Russell, Brad Upton, and many more. Whether Ms. Barbosa is out and about playing solo piano and singing… with her sultry Brazilian jazz trio or quartet… or playing soulful funk… she is always pleasing and entertaining …
